Supporting patients with lower urinary tract symptoms

A new editorial by ILC members has been published by the International Journal of Nursing Studies. The editorial is a call to action, urging nurses to do more to reduce lower urinary tract symptoms.

The authors argue that people with lower urinary tract symptoms deserve better care, and that the ILC is well positioned to motivate nurses to maximize dignity for people with such symptoms, and therefore to improve fundamental care, by working collaboratively. The article is free to access until 16 June 2020. The ILC will continue working towards making this call to action a reality. If you’d like to become a part of this movement, connect with the ILC today: admin@ilccare.org or @ILCconnect2care.
