ILC Fundamental Care Leadership & Mentoring Program
29 – 31 October, 2024
3 day workshop, followed by 12 months of mentoring
Nelson, New Zealand

The ILC is pleased to announce that our Fundamentals of Care Leadership Program will be held in New Zealand in October in 2024.

The ILC’s Fundamentals of Care Leadership Program aims to empower current and emerging healthcare leaders to challenge and change how the fundamentals of care are valued, prioritised, and actioned within healthcare systems globally.

The program begins with a 3 day intensive workshop, followed by 12 months of mentoring with experts in Fundamental Care.

With colleagues from across the globe, you will learn about creating change in your organisation to improve the care experience for patients and clients and to influence and shape care policy, practice, research and education.

The programme will take into account the unique context of fundamental care delivery to meet the needs of Māori as Tangata Whenua (people of the land) in Aotearoa New Zealand, underpinned by Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
