Introduction
The ILC is seeking nominations for Members to contribute skills in governance, management, finance and strategic planning to the organisation’s Management Committee. This is an opportunity to work closely with international colleagues to further enhance the ILC’s position as the lead advocate for high quality fundamental care globally.
The Management Committee is a structure defined under the Constitution of the ILC Inc.
The ILC Inc. Management Committee role is to provide governance, management, accountability and oversight of the operations of the ILC according to the Constitution of the Association*.
The ILC Management Committee has specific responsibilities to ensure the ILC operates within the rules of the Association as detailed in the Constitution. This scope includes responsibility for all governance and legal matters, financial, and human resources, of the Association. The organisational structure below explains the relationship between other governance components of the Association.
The ILC Management Committee will consist of up to nine people.
The Committee shall be comprised of a chairperson, secretary, treasurer and no more than six committee members.
If there are more than nine nominations, a ballot will be conducted amongst the Members of the Association. The nine persons with the most votes will be elected to the Management Committee.

Nominations open: Tuesday 4th April, 2023
Nominations close: Tuesday 2nd May 2023
Election Process Commences: Tuesday 16th May 2023
Annual General Meeting: Tuesday 13 th June 2023 at the ILC Conference, Portland, Maine US 12/13 June 2023 time to be confirmed (in-person and virtual options)
Election Results Announced: Tuesday 13 June at the AGM
