We’re excited to announce that the 2025 ILC Annual International Conference will be held in Genoa, Italy – thanks to the University of Genoa!

The theme for the 2025 conference is:

Global Collaboration, Local Action for Fundamentals of Care Innovation
The International Movement for Nursing and Allied Health Leadership and Patient Advocacy

The ILC Annual International Conference is the signature event for the ILC and brings together our global community of fundamental care experts and champions from practice, research, education and policy.

The upcoming 2025 ILC Annual International Conference will shine a light on the effective collaborations fostered through the ILC’s global advocacy and network. By engaging with and learning from their international peers, nurses and allied health professionals gain the strength and inspiration needed to lead and innovate in care delivery. Their local actions are vital, not only in improving patient outcomes but also in boosting the morale and well-being of healthcare professionals.

Call for Abstracts

We invite all clinicians, researchers, educators, patient advocates and policy makers to submit their abstracts for presentation at the conference. This is your chance to showcase your work embedding fundamental care into practice, education, research or policy. Filming, Photography and Recording

Please note: Photographs and video footage will be taken throughout the event. The ILC will be live streaming the conference to virtual participants.
