Join us for an exclusive ILC member only webinar with Dr Karleen Thornton. Karleen will give an overview of an Education Providers approach to embedding the Framework in an undergraduate nursing program.
In particular, the webinar will explore:
- The approach to embedding the Framework in an undergraduate nursing program
- The process for mapping the Fundamentals of Care within an existing program
- Examples of topic content and assessment items showcasing fundamentals of care

Karleen is a Teaching Specialist within the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Flinders University, with a passion for teaching and positive learning experiences. The importance of connecting with students and creating positive learning environments has driven a 24 year career in education, firstly within Industry and now in Academia. She has held leadership roles (Nursing Director) within Industry and have had wide exposure to education and clinical governance that assist to shape and inform teachable moments that are grounded in practice.
