ILC special interest groups (SIGs) provide a mechanism to bring together ILC members with a particular interest in fundamental care in either, research, education or practice. These groups meet virtually 4x per year and aim to gather individuals with similar interests in order to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing amongst our community.

ILC FoC Research Group
Aim: to support the conduct and dissemination of a coherent research programme within the ILC in order to improve knowledge of, and the evidence base for, fundamental care. You can read the Terms of Reference here.

To join an ILC Special Interest Group you must have an active ILC membership. To join a special interest group or see the status of your membership, please visit the ILC website and log in to your account. In your member portal you can join a special interest group by checking the box in – ‘Networks and Groups’. If you are unsure about the status of your membership, please get in touch.

NOTE: In 2025 we will run two Research SIG meetings each quarter. You do not need to attend both meetings. You may attend the one that is at the most convenient time for you.
