The theme of the ILC 2024 Annual International Conference is Empowering Care Excellence: Embedding Fundamental Care in Practice, Education, Research & Policy.
Care professionals are hungry for the opportunity to claim back their central role in delivering fundamental care. Nurses, allied health professionals, midwives and care workers are reclaiming the care agenda and their priority is to see fundamental care coming back to being the priority in all care activity, with the person being cared for at the centre.
